About us

Thai Amulet aims to catalogue a collection of over 1000 sacred Thailand amulets accumulated over a number of years.  Our aim is to, wherever possible, explore the provenance of each coin, or rian, by identifying and linking together, the Thai Temple origins and the magical Thai Monk creator.  We will also be adding mapping so that fellow researchers can plan their future visit to these temples.  An additional aspect to the site is to provide general information on Theravada Buddhism, the history of the revered Thai monks and the sacred application of Sak Yant Tattoos which originated across Siam many centuries ago.
