This stunning beautiful walking Buddha can be found overlooking the city of Nan in Northern Thailand. Phrathat Khao Noi Temple was built in the year 1487. The statue is about 9 metres tall. The walking Buddha ปางลีลา named ‘Phra Buddha Maha Udomonkol Nantaburee Sri Nan’ was built to honour Rama 9 King Bhumibol Adulyadej in December 5, 1999. Also located at the temple is a Burmese-Lanna pagoda that stores hair relics of Lord Buddha. Many famous Thailand Amulets were created in Nan in the Lanna style.
