Wat Sewatchat Worawihan is a third-class royal monastery located in Khlong San District, Bangkok.  It was previously known as Wat Bang Lamphu Lang and it is believed to date back to the Ayutthaya period. The temple had fallen into disrepair and was restored by King Boromwong the son of His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Maharaj Chulalok, who was the originator of the Chatkul family during the period BE 2359–2373.  Later the Temple was further restored by His Majesty King Nangklao and His Majesty King Mongkut and was finally renamed Wat Sewatchat Worawihan.
